The Young Graduate Program is designed to promote the personal and professional growth of young professionals within Terumo Europe in fields related to our Manufacturing &
Operations and Sales &
Marketing teams.


Throughout this program each Terumo Young Graduate will be assigned a Senior Mentor and Rotation Coach to guide them, provide support and aid in their personal development and the achievement of results.


The program consists of three rotations of six months based within the EMEA HQ in Leuven. The rotations will allow Young Graduates to build a strong internal network throughout the whole of Terumo Europe and beyond our Leuven HQ. All participants will receive customized trainings throughout the program to drive the development of both their soft and hard skills to perform optimally in each assigned role.


Job Summary

Join us for an 18-month Young Graduate program! During 3 rotations of 6 months you’ll get the opportunity to build experience in various areas of our organization, such as production, engineering, product marketing, business development, etc. You will be able to quickly contribute to our business, benefit from a custom-made training plan and you will get support from a Senior Mentor and Rotation Coaches during the entire program. After the program, we will be able to match your interests and experience with a permanent role within Terumo Europe.


Job Responsibilities

In this program we prepare starting engineers for a predefined position in a technical field within Terumo Europe. Required skills differ depending on the business unit, but all Young Graduates will be coached during a specifically designed rotation program. Rotations depend on specific business requirements and ongoing projects and and can entail supporting the product design, machine or process engineering team or other functions in manufacturing. Rotations outside of Manufacturing and Operations will be linked to other relevant business domains such as Product Management, Quality &
Regulatory, Supply Chain or other areas of the business that closely interact with our technical experts.






Belgian citizenship or legal eligibility to work in Belgium without company sponsorship or support.


You are fully graduated in September 2024 in a Master in Engineering Science (Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Bioscience). Candidates that have graduated prior to September 2024 will be considered into the program if they have less than one year of work experience.


You have demonstrated real-world or class project “hands-on” experience.


You have an excellent level of English, written and spoken. Additional language skills are a strong plus.


Ambitious, can-do personality, demonstrating a grow mindset.

We offer a clear growth path throughout the program with set evaluation and follow-up moments. Apart from the hands-on learning opportunities, Young Graduates will also be enrolled in more generic Learning &
Development programs within the organisation and encouraged to build a strong internal network. During set evaluation moments we will analyse and reward progress.

During the month of June we will select and screen resumes and cover letters to start the interview process in July. The program launches officially after the summer break.


Selected applicants are interviewed and selected by the Young Talent project team, which includes Talent Acquisition and additional stakeholders. The selection process entails competency-based interviews, certified testing and a business case presentation.


After a successful completion of the rotation program, young graduates are offered a job in line of the skills that are build up during the 18-month program.
