I'm partnered with a sustainability-focused company based in just south of Brussels, dedicated to making a global impact through technology.

They are currently working on a government-funded project aimed at combating illegal deforestation in South America and promoting sustainable logging practices worldwide.

They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cybersecurity and data security, along with extensive experience in JavaScript. Proficiency in building mobile applications using React Native and Node.Js is essential.


Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and Node.Js.
Implement and manage robust cybersecurity and data security measures.
Design and implement new features and functionalities for mobile applications.
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development and cybersecurity.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, Master's degree preferred.
Extensive experience in JavaScript, particularly in building mobile applications.
Strong proficiency with React Native and Node.Js.
Proven experience in cybersecurity and data security practices.
Solid understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, etc.).
Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Passion for sustainable practices and making a positive impact on the environment.
