Visser & Van Baars - Junior Database Administrator

We are looking for a Junior Database Administrator for a client of ours. You will receive training and certificates during the first months. You can therefore learn a lot in a short term. For these trainings, you will travel to the headquarters in Brussels a few days a week and then you will work completely on-site on a very unique project in the region around Charleroi and Namur.


The job
You will implement policies, practices and procedures to effectively manage the full data lifecycle.
Your main responsibility will be ensuring the timeliness of data, their availability to users, and protecting them from loss.
Your duties include applying approved data updates, implementing data protection measures such as backups, managing availability, distribution, migration, redundancy and security.
Within an Oracle Database environment, you will work with SQL (Structured Query Language), Windows and Linux operating systems.
