Description

We are looking for a Database Administrator who will protect our critical information, systems and assets, develop solutions, implement new databases, provide training and participate in the development of a global data warehousing strategy. We're looking for someone who can apply their skills to a technology-based business model that creates real solutions.
Responsible for the design, maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of databases
Install and update databases, manage and integrate automation processes
Design and implement maintenance procedures
Manage access and security
Resolve software errors by performing diagnostics, documenting problems and their resolutions, prioritizing problems and assessing the impact of problems
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for the planning and implementation of new or upgraded IT infrastructures and solutions.
Database backup management
Responsible for database capacity, Storage planning and performance
Liaise with programmers, applications, operational staff, Project Manager and other necessary technical staff.
Be the SPOC and key people for the company's future data hosting strategy.

Skills
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Fluent in French and English
Knowledge and understanding of the main database technologies
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB, S3 Object Storage, TimeScaleDB
Knowledge of Linux
Knowledge of the Kubernetes environment
Good Knowledge of database backup systemsGreat Troubleshooting skills
Provide user and develeper training, support and assitance
Knowledges of scripting (PowerShell, Python, ...)
