Quality Specialist

Description

The Quality Specialist oversees existing certifications, quality controls, performance metrics, and continuous improvement processes. Your goal is to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, including legal standards and customer expectations.

• Assist the Site QSHE team leader in fostering a quality culture and awareness;
  Establish close workingrelationships with the National QSHE Team, Site QSHE Team Leader, site management, and relevant positions (HR, etc.).
• Implement Quality Standards and create awareness of quality and security, ensuring adherence throughout the organization for customer satisfaction.
• Review and audit operational quality processes, verifying their effectiveness and compliance with local and international regulations;
  Assist the Site QSHE Team Leader in setting quality compliance objectives and ensuring targets are met.
• Support quality KPI settings and monitoring through performance measurement and reporting.
• Benchmark internal quality systems by conducting audits and self-inspections.
• Monitor updates of all relevant documents (policies, work instructions, forms) across different departments, focusing on Pet Feed, Food, and Pharma regulations. Additionally, act as the subject matter expert for quality within the site and coordinate activities with nominated experts within the local and BeLux organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Sciences, etc.;
  Extensive experience (3years) in a GxP regulated environment (GDP/GMP/GLP …);
  
• Experience (2 years) in a managerial Quality related position preferably within Logistics, food, pharma or other rapidly changing environment;
  
• Practical knowledge of Quality management systems (GXP, GDP, GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense, PDCA, ISO standards (9001,13485, …), AEO, …), prevailing local and international legislation/guidelines &
  best practice;
  
• Analytical skills, hands-on mentality, stress resistant;
  
• Sense of detail, good communication skills and strong team spirit;
  Demonstrated influencing &
  social abilities, diplomacy skills to create a consensus, and outstanding stress management skills;
  
• Fluent Dutch isrequired, good French or English is needed;
  
• Workplace flexibility to cover special/temporary projects at other sites.
