Job description

As an IT Project Leader, you'll utilize your expertise to steer projects (primarily application-focused) from requirement definition to implementation, ensuring their successful delivery. Collaboration with the Project Manager (business), relevant departments, and your project team members will be key to your success. You'll ensure effective communication, including report generation, while defining, planning, and controlling work, identifying and managing risks, and resolving issues promptly.


Responsibilities
Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with project stakeholders
Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans
Plan necessary resources for project execution
Monitor progress and make adjustments as required
Measure project performance to identify improvement opportunities
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage communications with external partners
Adhere to best practices, procedures, and standards

Profile
Higher education degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in one or more project management methodologies such as Prince2, PM-Bok, Scrum
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Project planning, risk management, time management, and other project management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Conflict resolution experience
Plus:
Project management experience in a mixed Mainframe/distributed environment
Certification in a project management methodology
Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Skills:
Customer-oriented with a focus on results
Strong team player
Curious, analytical, flexible, and critical thinker
Initiative-driven
Organized, precise, and reliable
Good command of technical English and passive knowledge of Dutch
