Where are you?

Welcome to your future team. As a Java Integration Developer (employee or freelancer), you will become an indispensable link in the ClearFacts-team that belongs to our Business Solutions division headed by Marie Costers.
ClearFacts is a collaboration platform for accountants (+600) and their customers (+100.000 SME's) for collecting, sharing, processing and integrating accounting data with their preferred accounting software.

What you'll be doing?

As you'll join the Data Integration Team, which is responsible for the integration of our SaaS platform with 7 different accounting softwares (like Kluwer Adsolut, Exact Online, Sage BOB, Odoo etc), you will:
Design and implement Java-based connectors that facilitate seamless communication between our application and different accounting software solutions via APIs or other integrations
Analyze the dataflows between the accounting software and our systems
Map data fields between our application and accounting software, transforming data as needed, to ensure compatibility
Implement effective error handling mechanisms to identify and address issues during data synchronization
Develop and execute test cases for integration scenarios to ensure the reliability and correctness of the connectors
Contribute to the overall system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance and reliability
Be able to work independently but also collaborate with your team and Product Owner to deliver cohesive and performant features

This is how you appear in our dreams
At least 4 years of experience in Java development
Have interest in APIs, data, integrations and is energized by implementing back-end features
Is excited about tackling complex financial problems
Proven track record of working with GIT, testing tools and testing methodologies
Have a hands-on mentality, and be able to communicate well with your peers
Strong Dutch communication skills
