Innovation Project Manager

We are offering an Innovation Project Manager position within our contract logistics team. If you want to contribute as a Project Manager in one of the most successful logistics organizations, this is a great opportunity to join our Innovation team!

Your Role

You will have a leading role in the area of Innovation and digitalization. You will be responsible for coordinating cutting-edge logistics process improvements, setting up pilot projects and building and sharing knowledge throughout the organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyzing, investigating and designing innovative and/or digitalized logistic process improvements;
  
• Deep diving into the innovation and digitalization tools and link these to process improvement opportunities based on business case calculations;
  
• Managing projects broadly to implement improvement projects for ongoing innovation and digitalization of logistics operations, including stakeholder management;
  Setting up and implementing pilot projects;
  
• Building a knowledge center and sharing this knowledge throughout the organization;
  
• Guiding and supporting the operational teams to develop knowledge concerning digitalization and innovation;
  
• Facilitating and fostering the Continuous Improvement process and culture across the KN sites.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Master’s degree in the area of logistics or equal level, and at least 3 years of experience in logistics;
  
• Strong interestin innovation and digitalization, expertise in this domain is an asset;
  experienced in tools such as Driver Desk and yard management, Robotic Process Automation, Digital training platform, Automated dimensioner, voice enabled quality control, pick by weight;
  
• Solid knowledgeof and profound expertise in project management with a variety of stakeholders;
  
• Skilled in process analysis, improvements and building relevant business cases;
  
• Self-motivated and result driven personality, autonomous working and hands-on mentality;
  Analytical thinking, strong communicator with internal and external stakeholders;
  
• Fluent in English (mandatory), Dutch is an asset;
  
• You are willingto travel in BeNeLux in relation to different projects.
