We are looking for a Facility Coordinator for our office and warehouse location in Geel.

Your Role

As a Facility Coordinator, you will assist the facility manager with the operational aspects of Facility Management. Your primary responsibility is to ensure excellent Facility service and support to employees and customers within our site in Geel.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for both soft and hard services, including pest control, cleaning, and ensuring the quality, safety, health &
    environmental standardsfor the building systems. This includes mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, winter services, sustainability, infrastructure, and security;
  • You will be required to follow up on the Facility management ticketing tool, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of facility requests promptly;
  • You will need to work closely with internal organizations, technicians, contractors, engineering offices, etc;
  • You will also provide general administrative support for Facility Management and ad hoc requests, monitor the supplier performance, and ensure it meets agreed service delivery standards;
  • Additionally, you will need to follow up on the stock of technical equipment, plan and organize the workload of the facility team to ensure all tasks are adequately covered, create a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism through KPIs, benchmarking, SLA, and implementation of best practices, and be able to calculate smaller business cases and implement them.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • To be considered for this position, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's education in facility management/engineering or equal experience and at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • You should havea technical background and interest in the latest facility techniques;
  • You should be hands-on, able to work in a matrix organization, have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch &
    English, and knowledge of a 3rd language is an advantage;
  • You should havea good level of MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and be able to demonstrate an analytical, logical, and numerate approach;
  • Finally, you should have the ability to perform risk analysis within the decision-making process.
