I am currently working on an exciting Support Engineer position for a huge utilities client in Brusels on an initial 6-12 month freelance position with plenty of scope for extension after.

Service description

In this role:
You will report to the project leader and your hierarchy.
You will work as a service provider for different customers within the clients Transmission Belgium in an agile way.
Together with the customer, you define the critical success factors for each project and you are responsible for their follow-up throughout the project.
You interpret and translate the customer demand into concrete data needs. For this you need the necessary business knowledge.
You collect the data needed for each project and consult with the operational teams on data needs that are not yet structurally covered.
You participate in the elaboration of data capture &
maintenance processes and then proceed to register the useful information/data in our reference systems.
You are responsible for the pre-processing (selecting, transforming, modeling, cleaning, integrating and formatting) of the data.
It is crucial that you have a data-centric attitude.

Most important skill set requirements are below
Conceptual knowledge of electricity - modelisation
Python handling
Analytic mindset
French or Dutch speaking is a must.

3 days onsite a week in Brussels and rest is remote.
