As a Direct Procurement Manager you will get the opportunity to craft and execute the purchasing strategy for chemicals, coloring, and other local commodities, managing a 40M€ spend across our 5 Belgian plants. You will report directly to the Country Procurement Manager
What you will do?

• Category and Supplier Management:
  
  • You champion thecategory management process, aligning strategies with business objectives.
  • You fostereffective supplier relationshipsandminimize riskthrough sound supply and supplier management strategies.
  • Drive innovation and explore new suppliersto enhance PURATOS's leverage.
• Contract Negotiation and Risk Management:
  
  • You anticipate and address issues impacting PURATOS during the contract negotiations.
  • Lead theRFI/RFP process, bid evaluation,andvendor contracting.
• Performance Management:
  
  • You extract relevant information from Group reporting systems for analysis and decision-making.
  • Youdrive savings and working capital improvement targets, actively seeking synergies across Belgian plants.
  • You report savings according to Puratos procurement savings measurement process.
  • You collaborate with Pricing tooptimize profit marginsby managing raw materials price evolutions.

Profile

• You have a Masters degree in procurement, supply chain, engineering (bio or chemical) or related field.
• You have 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or operations.
• You have strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• You have a proactive mindset with a 'can do' attitude.
• You are continuously looking for improvement opportunities.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch, and/or French.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP knowledge is a plus.
