Clinical Project Manager

As Clinical Project Manager (CPM) at SGS you will provide leadership to a (cross-functional) team in the execution of clinical research projects You will manage the project as such that the sponsor's expectations are met within the constraints of the budget allotted to the project. You may also be involved in the pre-award process, the development of the project budget and related documents as well as client meetings, including bid defense meetings, if applicable. You will develop and manage the overall project planning and implementation, and you will be the primary liaison between the sponsor, the SGS project team, vendors and the site participating in the study throughout the lifecycle of the project. You will perform general supervision of the project and will liaise with the coordinating team members of the different parties involved in the execution of the project, in order to ensure the assigned trial is conducted in accordance to the contract and in compliance with 1) the applicable regulatory, 2) the pre-defined procedures, 3) the applicable quality standards and 4) the mutually accepted work scope, study protocol and timelines. You will work pro-actively with the study team members to identify potential issues that might impact the execution of the project and/or the budget in any way and will provide contingencies to accommodate the needs of the assigned project. What do you need to be successful? You have obtained a university degree, MSc, Pharm D, or PhD in life sciences/medical background. You have at least 2 years of experience in a clinical trial management role, having managed phase 1, 2 and /or 3 clinical trials in a pharmaceutical or biotech company or another CRO from set up to close out. ICH/GCP and MS Project do not have any secrets for you. You are fluent in English. Do you also speak another language?
