Are you excited to dive into the dynamic world of global container shipping? MSC Belgium is looking for enthusiastic young graduates like you to join our Business Traineeship program! This 12-month rotation program is the perfect springboard to kick-start your career and make a meaningful impact.
Our tailored program is designed to prepare young graduates, rotating through various departments such as:
- Customer Service - Export and Import (Booking, Cargo &
Customer Care, Invoicing) - Operations
- Financial Business Control
- Logistics
You’ll receive both formal and on-the-job training, ensuring you grasp our business quickly. Regular feedback will help you grow personally and professionally, paving the way for even more challenging roles within MSC.
As a Business Trainee, you will:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the shipping industry and MSC’s quality standards.
- Deliver top-notch service to our customers, ensuring every interaction leaves them with a smile. You’ll be the first point of contact, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and spreading positivity.
- Sharpen your communication skills across various channels—phone, email and chat. Learn to convey information clearly, empathetically, and with a dash of enthusiasm.
- Become a master problem-solver. Tackle challenges head-on and find innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Work closely with a team of passionate individuals. Share insights, brainstorm solutions, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Who We’re Looking For
- You hold or are about to hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Logistic Management, or a related field.
- You have a keen interest in the maritime industry.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English;
additional languages are a plus. - You have a steep learning curve and can quickly master new systems and technologies.
- You think outside the box and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
- You are a persuasive communicator and adapt well to change.
- You can work independently and thrive in a team environment.
