Akabi - Fullstack Java Developer

AKABI is looking for several Java Developers for permanents roles at our customers and/or for differents consultancy missions based in Brussels and/or in Wallonia (Namur/ Liège/ Walloon Brabant). We are open to hire employees in CDI and/or to collaborate with freelancers consultant.

The job
Design and develop technical solutions,
Starting from the functional requirements,
Following our quality/security/legal guidelines and standards;
Develop efficient, pragmatic, user friendly and easy to maintain Java applications;
Ensure quality(unit/integration tests, documentation, etc...);
Contribute to the development of our Service Oriented Architecture (SOA);
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes;
Share your experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, Rest, JPA, SQL Server;
Share your experience with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD in GCP;
Work in an Agile environment.

Profile
Master or Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Sciences or equivalent ;
Min 3 to 5 years experience in a similar job ;
Able to speak in French and English (Dutch is a plus) ;
Pro-active, autonomous, flexible thinker ;
A real teamplayer ;
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, test-driven development and continuous integration
Problem solver, able to quickly understand existing code
Solution and customer oriented
Ability to integrate easily into an existing team and to supervise juniors

Homeworking is possible (2 to 3 days a week)
